Having grown up in the 90s watching Bollywood movies on Channel 4 and on Zee TV, I have always enjoyed Indian styles of music.

But at the fear of looking like an Asain musician who makes Indian music, I stayed away from releasing anything of the sort.

I think I've done a good job of establishing myself as a Grime artist. For my entire musical career I have been making Grime based music, and I felt as though if I put out Indian music it would have shadowed or taken away from my credibility as a Grime artist, and it wouldn't have reflected my passion for Grime.

But then I said whatever, and mashed it all together to make some Bollywood Grime based retro glitch hop liquid wave mortal kombat trance garage hybrid thing

And it's been fun!

So, I am very happy and overwhelmed to see that the one musical avenue I was apprehensive about has been the one thing that has lead me to my first YouTube

1 MILLION VIEWS!

Organic, not boosted, not paid, just caught the right wave with the right interest, and hopefully this will bring a bigger audience back to Grime, and especially towards the Grime Instrumental Dubplate side of our culture too.

Today is a landmark day for me.
